10 Eye-Popping Creative Packaging Designs

In many cases, the packaging is the customer’s first impression of a product. This is why companies are constantly striving to outdo themselves, and create better, more aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly more eye-catching packaging to wow consumers. Below is a list of 10 creative packaging designs we thought were worth sharing.

Nike Air

From German agency Scholz & Friends, this cushion packaging replaces the standard shoebox, for a design that shows off the beauty of the shoe and creates less waste as well. And there is something to be said for Airs packed in air.

This creative packaging design points to the “experience” of eating pistachios. After all, the shell is half the fun, no?

Sony wanted to prove that their Walkman Sports earphones were waterproof. Point taken.

Beautiful in its simplicity and straightforward aesthetics, this tissue package would be a welcome replacement for those unsightly cardboard boxes.

Juice Boxes

These cleverly-shaped juice boxes are one of the creative packaging designs which could make them more appealing to kids while highlighting the main ingredient.

Festina Watches

Similar to the Sony earphones, Festina wanted to highlight their waterproof watches. The tagline, “engineered for water,” establishes these watches as a niche product and makes them very appealing to certain demographics.

Thelma’s Cookies

Thelma’s are clearly going for the nostalgia here, and this creative packaging design reminds us of mom’s baking. We can almost smell the cookies!

Panasonic Earphones

This is a simple but incredibly effective packaging design, with the earphones arranged in the shape of musical notes. It’s a design that points to the purpose of the product.

Orange Drop

Though only a concept, this unique packaging would ensure that Orange Drop would stand out in the juice box aisle. This is one of the most creative packaging designs we’ve seen.

Hanger Tea

Not only are these a beautiful way to display tea, the hangers can also be clipped to the rim of your mug to make steeping your tea simple and easy. This is a design that combines aesthetics with functionality.

The internet is packed with amazing examples of creative packaging design. Know of any good ones we missed? Let us know in the comments!
